If you are using an application that has a Substance plugin, then you can use it directly inside of it. If you are using one that does not have such a plugin, like Blender, then you can use the free Substance Player standalone application to generate the materials and import the maps as you would any other material. if theres no file extension like .zip or .rar then dont worry just right click on it and click decompress it will work. 7-zip is recommended. it always works fine.
