Preview noise reduction and other edits in real time
Applying noise reduction shouldn’t be difficult. ​Now it’s easier than ever. ​
The new magnifier gives you a live preview of denoising and demosaicing, along with all of your other edits. You no longer need to guess how far you can push the shadows in a noisy image, or wonder if you could have lifted them further. ​This handy tool lets you inspect your edits with ease, offering a user-defined zoom level of up to 1600%. Once you try it, you will wonder how you managed without it.

Hue Masks for sophisticated adjustments
Precise editing needs pinpoint masking.
 Along with its legendary U Point™ tools, version 8 introduces Hue Masks.​ Powerful and ultra-accurate, these let you create selections by picking out a hue — or range of hues — so you can then apply a variety of adjustments.
