The Gnomon Workshop – Creating First Person Shooter Animations for Games Complete Course FREE 2024 Fast Download
This course is designed for animators who want to focus on creating first-person animations to be used in a game project. Veteran game developer, Bill Buckley, demonstrates the techniques and practices he has used throughout his career in AAA FPS games. He emphasizes the importance of creating a clear workflow to create a clear gameplay experience. Bill uses the first person template project that Unreal provides, which means the animator can jump right into checking his animation without having to worry about coding. Bill will start by creating an idle animation that is used as a starting point for all the other animations created. He will then create firing and reloading animations, for which he uses both the character and the gun. He will then show you how to successfully bring these assets into Unreal while maintaining precise touchpoints and timing. Bill also shows how to manipulate existing blue prints in Unreal while maintaining precise animation timing and the points where your objects should touch (the gun and the hands). This course is a must for any animator who has the desire to become an integral part of first-person shooter development.
