In this post, lets discuss how meshmachine can be used on Blender 2.93 to Blender 3.3a flawlessly, by bypassing the DRM.

MESHmachine is a blender mesh modeling addon with a focus on hard surface work without subdivision surfaces.

To make meshmachine 0.11.0 work on supportted blender version, you will need to first make sure decalmachine is working fine then you can continue. To begin, follow the guide below. Download the decalmachine 2.5.0 and meshmachine 0.11.0 before hand so you have all stuff ready beforehand.

After Downloading both of the files above, continue reading below:

1. Install decalmachine 2.5.0 and make sure its working fine by pressing the D button on keyboard using Blender, it opens Pie menu. Once its confirmed, move to step 2.

2. Add a new line “0.0.0.0 drum.machin3.io” in C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
Reason being step 1 might stop working after some time, step 2 seems to enforce step 1 to continue to work.

3. Optionally, you may now update Decalmachine to v2.5.1 and it’ll continue to work with the above setups. I got v2.5.1 from other source to fix a baking issue in v2.5.0, and that’s the latest version I’ve got. When doing the update, I did NOT remove v2.5.0 but unzipped v2.5.1 to overwrite v2.5.0’s files.
Blender v3.1+ needs Decalmachinev2.6.0+ to work. If you had Decalmachine v2.6.0+ AND with v2.5.x working in B3.0, you could try install it in B3.1. Theoretically it should work and in B3.2, B3.3a too.

4. Now with a working version of Decalmachine, you can install Meshmachine v0.11.0 to work from Blender v2.93 thru v3.3a connecting to Internet. Again, you see full pie menu shown up in Object mode, and full pop-up menu in Edit mode whenever you press “Y” then you know it’s working.

5. Thats it, DRM has been bypassed. enjoy meshmachine.
