– Open the Registry Editor (windows start and type regedit)
– Go to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftware\Adobe\CSXS.10
– Add a new string and call it PlayerDebugMode. Set the value to 1. Restart AE.

Now it will work fine on 2021.
