Hooker is an After Effects CC 2018 and above extension that brings the ability to control each path point individually by hooking it to a layer. This way each point can be animated separately without affecting the rest of them. This brings far more advanced point control options, as you can animate tangents and vertices individually.

Installation Instructions

1) Close After Effects if it’s running. Unzip the zip file
2) Drag that unzipped folder into the folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\CEP\extensions\
3) Create a registry entry “PlayerDebugMode” with String value 1 in
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe/CSXS.5
(To create and modify registry entries you can search for the program “regedit” in the windows menu)
4) If the registry key is already present, ignore point 3.
5) Reopen After Effects
6) Go to Window -> Extensions -> Hooker
7) If license is asked, just type anything and press enter.

if theres no file extension like .zip or .rar then dont worry just right click on it and click decompress it will work. 7-zip is recommended. it always works fine.
